Some time ago my friend Eva from Taiwan gave two bags of instant noodles… her favorite brand of instant noodles that she could find in Denmark, where she lives now. I promised her I would have made a post on my blog as soon as I tried them… so here I am.
.
The bag of instant noodles contained egg noodles, two small bags with different sauces (that I did not use) and one with dry fried onions. When you use this package you are also supposed to add some meat and vegetables, as much as you like. I made up this dish with few things I had left in my fridge that day… the result was very nice, I definitely have to repeat it.
NOODLES WITH PORK AND GREEN BEANS
Ingredients: 1 bag instant noodles (or normal egg noodles), pork, green beans, soy sauce, mushroom soy sauce, spring onions, garlic and extra-virgin olive oil.
Cut the pork in medium size pieces and marinate with soy sauce, leave it marinating for about 15 minutes. In the meanwhile cook the noodles in boiling water for 1 minute, then drain them. Take a wok pan, put some oil, chopped spring onion, 1 chopped garlic clove and one Tbsp soy sauce, fry for 2 minutes. Add the meat and cook for few minutes. When the meat is almost ready add the noodles and the green beans and fry for a couple of minutes. Adjust the seasoning with some more soy sauce and give it a nice dark color with some mushroom soy sauce. This is perfect if accompanied with a cup of Chinese green tea.
The dish is now ready to serve... very quick, very easy and very tasty!

That look so good! Looks something i could eat right now. I have loads of instant noodles stash in the cupboard for when i'm too lazy but so hungry. Especially coming home from a night out... :)
I like this kind of noodles,I will try your recipe.BTW ,your photos are amazing.
Mae, thanks a lot. It is a very big compliment said frpom you. I have another bag of instant noodles that I will try soon with chicken.
Sylvia, thanks a lot. This was something I made up using things I had in the fridge... and it came out really good!
Ciao.
Orchidea, I like Tung-1 Beef Noodles too. :) All packed with a nice chinese five spice flavor soup, really delicious and easy to prepare over some quick stir-fry greens and meats, yums !:)
